Terms and Conditions
Quotes.At the time of your quote for your work will be provided to you. The quote is the discretion of the company, and may change if the same work is requested at a later date.
Deposits and Payments.Deposits for your products are as follows, 50% of the total quoted price for celebration cakes, 25% for wedding cakes. Work will not begin until the deposit is paid in full. There are no refunds on deposits, except wedding cakes cancelled more than 12 weeks before the wedding date. If equipment or products (cake stands, serving trays etc) are provided, an additional deposit will be required and will be refunded when the equipment is returned in its original working condition.
Payment is due in full for celebration cakes and cupcakes upon collection. Payment is due in full by BACs 2 days before items are delivered. Full payment for wedding cakes is due 6 weeks before the wedding date.
Product, Satisfaction and Refunds.Each product sold by the company is unique and hand made. While every effort will be made to design the product to your exact specifications, some aspects (colour, design, etc) may vary slightly. If significant changes must be made to a quoted design, we will contact you for authorisation before continuing.
The company is responsible for the condition of the product until it is picked up and paid for. Once the product leaves the premises, it is assumed that the customer is satisfied with the product, and no refunds will be given. Complaints or alteration requests must be done at the time of pick up. Additional charges may be incurred if the request alteration is significant. If the product is being delivered, the company remains responsible for the condition until the customer takes delivery.
Food SafetyUnless otherwise stated, all our products are nut-free but are not made in a nut free environment. Products contain gluten unless specifically stated glutenfree. The customer should notify the company of any food allergies prior to placing the order. Cakes are made without preservatives and should be eaten as soon as possible. Cakes should be stored in a dry place at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat.
If your cake contains figurines, custom objects, it is advised that the customer not eat them. While all figurines are made from edible materials, the presence of dowels or other critical reinforcement devices may be used internally.
